He had every right as an apostle to financial support, comfort, and recognition—yet he surrendered those rights for the sake of love and the advance of the gospel.

This isn’t weakness. This is Christlike strength. It’s the same pattern we see in Jesus, who gave up the glory of heaven to rescue us.
